Customer Challenges

KUKA decided to use SAP PLM with an integration of all their electronics development tools in use
Implementation of a new ECAD system to supplement the existing tools
The challenge was to keep the libraries of different ECAD systems up to date in an automated way and to integrating these processes into the ECAD-SAP PLM connector

Customer Requirements

KUKA and XPLM developed a data model that exactly matches the working method of the 30 named users in electronics development
Due to the global activities of the group, it is also intended that all KUKA locations are able to access the centrally managed SAP PLM information
