Our trainee Max talks about what it's like to work with us at our company

At the beginning of your vocational training course at XPLM, qualified personnel provide you with insights into the day-to-day tasks and challenges you’ll encounter in your field of training. The respective vocational training officer gives you a more detailed introduction to the job you've chosen as this makes it easier for you to learn how to deal with tasks properly. Consideration is also given to a vocational trainee's own interests and wishes.

Interaction between team members is always respectful and friendly

Vocational trainees are given a wide variety of tasks to prepare them for their future career. They deal with them within a defined period of time, working autonomously to the extent that this is possible. This allows them to learn how to work independently, a skill they’ll need in the future. The XPLM team is always available to make suggestions, answer questions and provide any support that’s needed. The vocational training course also includes attending the vocational school responsible for the trainees. Schools at other locations can only be considered with the approval of the Chamber of Trade and Industry and if valid reasons for attending a different school are given. XPLM makes educational resources available to the trainees for their exams to help them complete their training course successfully.

The vocational training courses includes a wide range of learning content

During their training, the trainees spend time in a number of different departments so that they can familiarize themselves with all the relevant tasks. The fact that XPLM has a number branch offices offers the possibility of short business trips to the cities in which the offices are located.

The company also organizes social events for its employees outside of work with so that they can get to know each other and form a personal connection. These include an annual Christmas party held at different venues, summer parties and other small events.

All vocational trainees have a chance of joining the company

If a trainee shows interest and performs well throughout their training, their chances of joining the company once they have completed their training are very good. As a permanent employee, you’ll also have plenty of opportunity to advance your career.
