Gamma Technologies LLC (http://ww.gtisoft.com) hosted the 2017 European GT Conference on Monday, October 10 at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. With more than 400 participants this conference belongs to the largest events for system simulation.
XPLM made use of this opportunity to present their new integration between Siemens Teamcenter and the simulation tool GT POWER/GT SUITE, which has been developed in cooperation with Siemens and GT. With the help of XPLM’s Integration Platform, it is intended to develop integrations between PLM tools and Gamma’s 1D simulation solution in order to enhance early phase system simulation with data management and process support capabilities. The ground for this was first broken by Siemens Teamcenter which is currently being expanded by Siemens PLM with new models for Model Lifecycle Management under the keyword System Driven Product Development (SDPD). The existing solution fits seamlessly into the available integrations with MATLAB/Simulink and Siemens’ own tool, LMS AME.Sim. As a result of the increasing importance of co-simulation, the need to integrate a range of 1D-Simulation tools with PLM and control data exchange centrally in a PLM system, with Standards such as FMU, has also grown.
