Software Developer

to strengthen our development team in Dresden.

Responsibilities:

Development of software solutions for integration of CAD, PLM and ERP applications. Based on the technical requirements, creation of concepts and implementation using C++ and Java. Responsible for the development project as well as the quality control and maintenance of the software.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of C++, Java, COM/COM+, J2EE, UML, XML, XLS, XSLT as well as a PLM or CAD system

The successful applicant will be able to work independently and responsibly, have strong analytical and conceptual skills and be able to learn new technologies and architectures quickly. Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

PLM process and application support, preparation of decision analyses, preparation and presentation of workshops, concepts, implementation and introduction of PLM systems, their integration into enterprise-wide ERP, MCAD, ECAD and/or EDA applications as well as program and project management including controlling and personnel planning. Successful applicants will work mainly in the German-speaking countries, but may be required to work in other European countries.

Qualifications:

Degree (BA, FH, TH) in computer science, engineering or an equivalent qualification. Ideally successful applicants will have several years’ project experience with one or more PLM and/or CAD systems.

Successful applicants will work closely with customers and will also be able to work independently and responsibly. They will have strong analytical and conceptual skills and be able to learn and familiarize themselves quickly with new subjects. They will be confident, have a good command of the German and English Languages (oral and spoken) and be prepared to travel.

The successful applicant will work mainly in German speaking countries, but will also be required to work internationally.

Qualifications:

Degree (university/TH/FH) in electrical engineering or electronics or an equivalent qualification. Ideally the successful applicant will have several years’ project experience with one more EDA and PLM systems.

We are looking for a

Implementation Engineer, MCAD to PLM Integration

to strengthen our implementation team in the US.

Responsibilities:

Plays a vital role on all phases of MCAD to PLM integration projects, working independent and / or directly with other MCAD / PLM Implementation Engineers to provide quality MCAD to PLM integration workshops, training, and implementation services at customer sites.

The MCAD / PLM Implementation Engineer will work primarily out of his / her home office, preparing for upcoming workshops and implementation projects, as well maintaining currency on xPLM Solution products and developing knowledge of new products. Provides demonstrations of xPLM Solution products to prospective customers and technology partners.

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of Mechanical Engineering processes and best practices.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with PLM and database methodology, functionality, and architecture.
• Desire to learn fundamentals of different MCAD software programs in order to demonstrate functional capabilities of the software as well as the functionality and features of the corresponding MCAD to PLM integration product.
• Ability and desire to travel. Travel during peak periods could exceed 50%.
